Earth
Day, is celebrated each year on April 22, it marks the
anniversary of the birth of a modern environmental movement
started in 1970. It is observed to remind us of our shared
responsibility to protect the planet.
The children resolved to accept
collective responsibility for the imbalance which man made
activities have had on the planet. By acting now they
realize we can reduce the accompanying risks of these
problems before it is too late. It is best to catch them
young and teach them how, at a personal level by conserving
water, electricity, power and fuel, planting trees,
minimizing the usage of non biodegradable substances and
switching to renewable sources of energy, we can all
make a sizable difference towards our planet’s survival.
